Miniature works of municipal art
Roundabouts are a relatively new phenomenon in parts of France. This novelty, coupled with a strong sense of civic pride, means that many French roundabouts are an art form. Creativity and horticultural design often go hand in hand with local themes.
Here are some of my favourites, at present mainly in the Lot & Garonne, but over time to be extended to all France.
Unfortunately some of the artwork is ephemeral and may not still be there to see.
